What can I do with ripe lemon/lemon peels?
1 egg yolk 1 ripe lemon/lemon peels and zest 2 cups of liquid milk ¼ cup of sugar 1 ½ tablespoons corn flour Little salt ½ cup walnut (decoration) Strawberries (decoration)
Prepare the lemon juice and zest
In a pot, add the milk, lemon juice & zest, corn flour, egg yolk and the sugar over a medium heat for 10 minutes
Stir the mixture every now and then
Remove the lemon curd from the heat and set aside to cool, in the serving bowls. You may decorate the custard by topping it with walnuts and strawberries
Keep in the fridge until ready to use
