Umm Ali is a traditional Egyptian dessert equivalent to the American bread pudding.
Toast frames/ bread toast slices- stored overnight ½ cup of coconut ½ liter liquid milk ¾ cups of powdered sugar 2 tablespoons of butter ½ cup of peeled almond ½ cups of raisins ½ cup of walnuts 1 tablespoon of Blossom Water Ground cinnamon, as desired 1 cinnamon stick
Pour the milk into a saucepan; add the butter, sugar and cinnamon stick. Heat until boiling for five minutes
Add the Blossom Water, and then turn off the oven flames
In the baking dish, tear toasts into smaller pieces, and then add all the nuts and coconuts
Pour the milk over the toast mixture, and you may add ground cinnamon on top
Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven (180̊). Serve Warm
