What can I do with wilted cilantro & parsley leaves?
Wilted cilantro & parsley leaves Chickpeas soaked overnight (for 12 hours) 1 ½ of Foul Modammas soaked overnight (for 12 hours) ½ medium onion 1 garlic clove ½ tablespoon baking powder and ½ tablespoon of baking soda Breadcrumbs Spices: salt, grounded cumin and dried parsley
In the food processor, process together the chickpeas, foul, onion, garlic, cilantro & parsley leaves
Add to the mixture above the spices, breadcrumbs and the baking powder and baking soda
Blind all above ingredients well, and make lemon-sized falafel balls
Deep-fry the balls in hot oil, on a medium flame until golden
Serve Falafel with your favorite stuffing in pita/ sandwiches

Cooking Time : 20 - 30 Minutes
