Khushaf is a dessert made with dried fruit and nuts.
75 grams qamruddin*, soaked in water. (Qamruddin are sheets of sun-dried apricot paste made from squeezing apricots and mixing them with sugar) 75 grams dried figs, soaked in water 75 grams dried apricots, soaked in water 50 grams dried plums, soaked in water 50 grams raisins, soaked in water ½ cup water ½ cup sugar 100 grams mixed nuts 1 teaspoon rosewater
Put the soaked qamruddin (along with the liquid) in a pot over medium heat. Pour water in it and stir.
Add sugar and mix until well-dissolved.
Add remaining dry fruits (without their liquid) and stir.
Add rosewater and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Place mixture into a bowl. Sprinkle with mixed nuts and serve.
